A Message from our Principal
St. James Intermediate School is one of five brand new schools in Horry County, SC. Our school is a state of the art facility, which opened in August 2017, and serves over 900 fifth and sixth-grade students in the St. James attendance area.
We are the first Intermediate School in Horry County to be home for both 5th and 6th-grade students. This is so exciting and thrilling to be part of a team that celebrates this concept! Come visit our learning community and be immersed in a culture of both collaboration and creativity as well as a school culture that envelopes the social and emotional development of our students.
Our school community encourages and promotes educational programming to catapult students to success as they prepare to become College and Career Ready South Carolina graduates, who possess 21st Century Skills.
